...I have a few thoughts about our joint music project. I'm

wondering if it would be helpful for each of us to have perhaps 5

notated snippets (a measure or two or three) of material that we will

record and then exchange with each other so we can record our own

Version. I think that would provide some unity, yet, since we wouldn't have to use a prescribed tempo or dynamic (or even pitch level), there would variety as well...This could be very interesting on a couple of tape loops randomly played. What do you think?

I love your idea! It's perfect for combining the acoustic vs.

electronic sounds into a cohesive mix. It makes much more sense to do it

this way, and will be much more fun!
