ERIC PRENDERGAST,  a Wisconsin native, is a student at the University of Chicago. His fields of interest are linguistics, Japanese, Asian studies, Slavic Languages, and computer science. Eric’s poetry has been published in the literary magazines, Aubade & Blacklight. He has worked professionally as a freelance web designer for five years. As an officer of the University of Chicago Japanese Animation Society, he does web design and cyber outreach. Eric has served as one of the editors for Everything2, or E2 for short, a large collaborative Internet writing community started in 1999. A Sunday night might find him performing his poetry at the Uptown Poetry Slam, Green Mill Jazz Club in Chicago.  www.everything2.com
